My experience with MLM has been limited, but after listening to “The Dream,” I’ve become intrigued (in a morbid curiosity kind of way).
Recently, my cousin invited me to like the Facebook page “XXXX - US Health Advisors.” I found lots of negative reviews and saw them listed in the MLM mega thread. I’m still unclear about what exactly they do and why they’re considered an MLM.
I can’t assist my cousin directly, but I’m worried about my grandparents potentially buying unnecessary insurance from her.
USHEALTH Advisors is a wholly-owned national sales and distribution subsidiary of USHEALTH Group, Inc. They specialize in marketing a portfolio of innovative and affordable health coverage plans for individuals, families, and small businesses.
But it is better to note that they are not an MLM. While there have been discussions about whether USHEALTH Advisors operates as a multi-level marketing (MLM) company, it’s essential to clarify that they are not a pyramid scheme MLM. They don’t have multiple layers of agents, mentors, and trainers primarily focused on recruitment. Instead, they focus on providing health coverage plans.
US Health Advisors is criticized as an MLM (multi-level marketing) scheme. Former employees warn that it requires significant upfront costs and ongoing expenses for leads and licensing. They also mention long waits before making sales, paying in advances that lead to debt, and exploiting the sunk cost fallacy.
