What are the reviews for US Health Group?

I met with a person who works for US Health Advisors and Freedom Life. He was friendly and seemed knowledgeable, but since I’ve always used Blue Cross, it felt new to me. He’s going to call me again tomorrow to discuss further. I’m wondering if anyone has experience with them and if it’s a good or bad idea to switch.

I’ve had to help a lot of clients undo the mess caused by US Health Advisors.

Freedom Life products are known to be bad. They are cheap, but you get what you pay for. The brokers selling them often lie when answering direct questions about the plans.

My buddy’s dad was recently sold a Freedom Life indemnity plan that was misrepresented to him. When we went through the summary of benefits, it was clear he was misled. When he called to complain and cancel, the person handling the cancellation acted like this was totally normal for them. The worst part was that he was eligible for a large tax credit (about $1200 a month), but the agent told him he made too much to get any financial assistance.

If you see US Health Advisors or Freedom Life, be very careful.

Side note: if the agents you’re talking to have an agency based in Florida, you’re probably going to have a bad experience.

Before thinking about switching to US Health Advisors and Freedom Life, perform extensive research. Ask for feedback and opinions from current clients to determine their dependability and level of satisfaction. Make sure any transition in health insurance meets your requirements and preferences by comparing their offers, coverage, and customer service to those of your existing carrier.

Probably not true health insurance, more like a bad insurance-like product that can cancel you at any time, refuse to pay for services it believes may have begun before the start of your coverage, and cap the amount it spends on your treatment. Your employer, healthcare.gov, or the state-specific website that healthcare.gov refers you to are the only places you should be purchasing health insurance.

When I was considering switching from Blue Cross, I met with a representative from US Health Advisors and Freedom Life. The rep was friendly and knowledgeable, which made the new options seem appealing. However, I did thorough research and found mixed reviews about their plans, particularly concerning coverage limitations and customer service. I reached out to people who had firsthand experience and also read online reviews to get a balanced perspective. Ultimately, I chose to stick with Blue Cross due to its comprehensive coverage and reliability, but exploring other options gave me valuable insights. It’s crucial to compare the details and read customer experiences before making a decision.
