Stuck between Medi-Cal and Covered California income limits, what can I do?

I’m 22 and trying to figure out health, dental, and vision insurance, but it’s really confusing.

For Medi-Cal, I was told I can’t make more than $1,732 per month, but for Covered California, I need to make at least $20,797 per year. My income falls between those two, and now I don’t know what I actually qualify for.

Does anyone know what options I should be looking into? I’m losing my current insurance in two months, so I really need to figure this out.

Appreciate any advice.

Covered California subsidies actually start at $20,783 per year, so there shouldn’t be a gap in coverage.

If you apply on the Covered California website and they find you qualify for Medi-Cal, they’ll automatically send your application over. You should try applying and see what happens.
