I’ve been exploring healthcare options recently after realizing how expensive traditional insurance plans can be. A while back, I tried out a health-sharing program and found it surprisingly cost-effective compared to what I used to pay. Now, I’m curious about Medishare and wondering if anyone here has experience with it.
Could anyone share their insights on how much Medishare costs compared to conventional insurance plans?
For others, Medi-Share and other health care sharing programs are excellent choices because they are less expensive. However, be sure you are aware of what you are getting into right away—they are not insurance. Maternity is covered by Medi-Share, but only if you are not expecting when you sign up. Pre-existing conditions are also subject to restrictions. It might be beneficial for you, particularly if you are self-employed, if you thoroughly understand the distinctions between an alternative like Medi-Share and health insurance before joining.
Medishare is not an insurance plan. What a terrible decision. The worst decision you can make. There are regulations governing short-term medical care, at least.
Hey there, honestly, I was on Medi-share with my son since we assumed it would be less expensive than my husband’s work-provided health insurance. They covered very little of what they claimed to cover and yet cost us about $400 per month.
