What’s the deal with Alliance Bronze Health Plan?

I just heard about the new Bronze Plan from Alliance Health. It seems like a budget-friendly option, but I’m curious about the details. Has anyone looked into the deductibles, out-of-pocket costs, or HSA benefits?

The Bronze Plan is definitely more affordable if you’re okay with higher deductibles. Individual deductible is $7,000, and the family deductible is $14,000. Once you hit those, there’s an out-of-pocket max of $8,050 for individuals and $16,100 for families.

@Patton
Thanks for breaking that down. What’s this about an HSA contribution for new members?

If you’re new to the Bronze Plan, Alliance gives a one-time contribution to your HSA—$250 for individuals and $500 for families. It’s optional for employers to contribute after that, though.

The updated vendor partnerships sound promising too. Allied Benefit, MedOne, and First Health are the new partners, so you’ll get better prescription services and a wider network of providers.

Good to know. Do you think the vendor changes make a big difference?

@Lennon
It could, especially if you rely on specific medications or need access to a larger provider network. Might be worth checking if your preferred providers are included.
