Suggestion for health insurance

I work for an MNC and have recently resigned, and my new company doesn’t offer parental health insurance. Up until now, my mother was covered under my current employer’s policy, but I’m considering getting a separate health insurance plan for her. However, she’s not interested in obtaining one. What would you recommend—should I proceed with the insurance, and if so, which policy might be suitable? For context, my mother is 54 years old and underwent a stent operation two years ago. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What’s an MNC? They covered your mother? I never heard of this.

Is she working? Does she qualify for Medicaid?

This sub is for US health insurance. I think India might have a sub that might help.
