Has anyone here worked with attorneys in Monroe, WI, who specialize in health insurance? I’ve been having some issues with a denied claim, and I’m not sure where to start. Would love to hear recommendations or tips from others who’ve dealt with this.
I had a great experience with a local attorney when my insurance company denied a surgery claim. They knew all the ins and outs of ERISA and got the denial overturned.

Do you remember the name of the firm? I’ve been looking for someone with ERISA experience.
@JohnRodriguez
I think the attorney I used was based in Monroe and specialize in health insurance disputes.
For denied claims, I’d recommend finding someone who knows both local Wisconsin laws and federal policies. It’s really helpful when they have experience with ERISA cases.

Exactly. I had a similar issue with delayed payments, and a local attorney really helped. They pressured the insurer, and I finally got my reimbursement.
I’d also suggest checking reviews before hiring anyone. Some attorneys specialize more in other areas, so make sure they’ve handled health insurance disputes before.

Totally agree. I had a bad experience with a generalist attorney before finding someone who specialized in health insurance. The difference was night and day.
Anyone know if local attorneys also handle cases where insurance companies unfairly cancel policies? I’m dealing with that now and don’t know where to turn.

I had my policy reinstated after an attorney argued that the cancellation was unjustified.

Same here. They really understand how to navigate these situations and make insurers comply with the law.
I’ve also heard that some Monroe attorneys go beyond individual cases and work on community advocacy. That might be worth looking into if you want someone really dedicated.

Absolutely. They’re not just about winning cases—they’re about improving access to fair health insurance practices for everyone.
