I treated myself to this company this year. They have truly been awful. Small networks, no pre-certifications, and poor customer service are all present. The worst business I have ever had, both personally and as a seller, is this one.

Ambetter insurance is not a scam, but calling them is frustrating. Every call ends up in a long hold, usually at least an hour, before you talk to someone, and even then, nothing gets resolved. We called them for 10 days straight, averaging one and a half hours each day, but got nowhere.
I just want them to approve my Primary Care Physician (PCP) and assign me to an in-network specialist. Their call center is very unprofessional. Even if you ask something simple like the current date, they put you on hold to ask their manager. It feels like they might as well hire robots instead of people.
